PAST EVENT: APA NW Member Doug Landreth’s PS Workshop

I’m posting this to let the APA photography community know about a creative photoshop workshop I’m conducting in Seattle on August 20th and 21st that could be of interest to a number of you. My fine art work has gotten a lot of attention for it’s use of layering and textures the last few years and I’ve just returned from a very successful workshop I conducted down in Napa.  I’ve decided to condense the 5 day workshop into a 2 day seminar format for photographers in major metropolitan area’s and figured I’d kick it off in my own back yard.. Seattle.  I’m hosting it in my old studio on Airport Way S., now occupied by SodoPhoto.
You can find all the details on the Landreth Workshop website:
Here’s a quick summary of the event:
This workshop will provide you with the tools, techniques and creative ideas to enhance your own distinctive photographic style during two days of intensive seminar instruction.
If you have a working knowledge of Photoshop, and a recent version installed on a
laptop, you’re ready to join us!  Here’s a few quotes from my last workshop:
“The workshop was AMAZING! We didn’t just scratch the surface,
we dove in head first and swam with the dolphins!”

“Absolutely loved the workshop! Would do it again in a heartbeat.”

“I gained new familiarity with advanced layering and masking techniques and had fun playing with a whole new set of tools.”

“Doug is a warm, capable and generous teacher and it was sheer enjoyment in the company of a small group of talented photographers. I highly recommend this class!”

“I would have never arrived at this technique on my own and am forever thankful for your openness to share these “trade secrets”… I feel so inspired.”
Registration is $350. Sign up now!Or click here for the Seattle workshop PDF.Visit the workshop website at
